ဇန္န၀ါရီလ (၁၃) ရက္ေန႔ နံနက္ (၅း၀၀) နာရီခန္႔တြင္ ဗမာစစ္တပ္ အမည္အသိ မွ ကထန္ေက်ာက္စိမ္းေမွာ္ရွိ အရပ္သားေနအိမ္မ်ားအား လက္နက္ႀကီးမ်ားျဖင့္ပစ္ခတ္ခဲ့ၿပီး ရြာအတြင္းသို႔ ၀င္ေရာက္ကာ လက္နက္ ငယ္မ်ားျဖင့္ အရပ္သားမ်ားအား ပရမ္းပတာ ပစ္ခတ္ခဲ့ပါသည္။ ထိုသို႔ပစ္ခတ္မႈေႀကာင့္ အရပ္သား ကိုဂ်င္မီဆိုသူ ေသဆံုးၿပီး၊ ႏွစ္ဦးဒဏ္ရာရရွိခဲ့ပါသည္။ ဗမာအစိုးရစစ္တပ္မွာ ကထန္ေက်ာက္စိမ္းေမွာ္ အနီးရွိ KIA တပ္စခန္း အားတိုက္ခိုက္ရမည့္အစား အျပစ္မဲ့ေက်ာက္စိမ္းတူး ျပည္သူမ်ားေနထိုင္ရာ ကထန္ရြာအား ပစ္မွတ္ထား တိုက္ခိုက္ခဲ့ျခင္းမွာ ေမးခြန္းထုတ္စရာျဖစ္ေနပါသည္။ “မနက္ ၅ နာရီမွာ လက္နက္ႀကီးသံ ႏွစ္ခ်က္ႀကားတာနဲ႔ ဂတုတ္က်င္းထဲ၀င္ဖို႔ႀကိဳးစားတာဘဲ၊ ဗမာစစ္သားေတြက ရြာထဲမွာ ဘယ္အခ်ိန္ကတည္းက ေရာက္ေန မွန္းေတာင္မသိဘူး၊ ေႀကာက္ၿပီး ေျပးတဲ့သူကေျပး၊ ကတုတ္က်င္းထဲ၀င္သူက၀င္တာဘဲ၊ စစ္သားေတြက ေျပးတဲ့သူအကုန္ သူပုန္ဘဲဆိုၿပီး လိုက္ပစ္တာဘဲ။ အိမ္ထဲလည္း ၀င္ၿပီး ေက်ာ္စိမ္းတံုးေတြ၊ ပိုက္ဆံေတြ၊ ေရႊေငြလက္၀တ္ရတနာေတြ၊ ဖုန္းေတြ လိုခ်င္တာေတြအားလံုး ရိုက္ဖြင့္ၿပီး၊ ယူသြားတာဘဲ။ ဘာမွမတတ္ႏိုင္ဘူး” ဟုအမည္မေဖာ္လိုသူ ေဒသခံတစ္ဦးကဆိုပါသည္။ ယခုအခါ အစိုးရစစ္တပ္သည္ ဖားကန္႔ေဒသို႔ စစ္အင္အား ၂၀၀၀ ခန္႔ပို႔ေဆာင္ထားၿပီး ေက်ာက္စိမ္းတြင္းမ်ားအား ထိန္းခ်ဳပ္ႏိုင္ရန္ ၾကိဳးစားေနျခင္းျဖစ္ေႀကာင့္ တိုက္ပြဲမ်ား ပိုမိုျပင္းထန္လာႏုိင္သည္ဟု ေဒသခံမ်ားက စိုးရိမ္လွ်က္ရွိေနပါသည္။

The cruel Burmese Government troops shelled with heavy artillery then fired with small arms to the civilians in Ka Htang Yang Jade mine at 05:00 AM on 13rd January , 2012 according to the KIA front line officer report. In such firing, two civilians were injured and one civilian, Ko Jimmy, were killed. Instead of focusing to the KIA, the Burmese Government troops aimed to direct the innocent civilians.  Why does the Government let happen to hit the civilians? “ At very early morning 05:00, we hear two exposition of heavy weapons, we try to hide in cannels, but we don’t know what time the Burmese soldiers arrive in our village, the civilians are scared and screamed, some area running, some are going in to cannels. At that time, Burmese soldiers shout that those who running are KIA then open fire. Some Burmese soldiers enter into civilian’s houses and take the valuable things of jade, cash, jewel, phone and others what they want. They are like robber and we can’t do anything,” said one of the civilians. Now, Burmese Government send more than 2000 soldiers to Hpa Kant area to control the whole jade mine area and the civilians are worried to become dreadful battles.
