The wicked attacked launched by Burmese army against KIA 12th Brigade Mung Hkawng village on 08th February 2012. In spite of ongoing Peace talk between KIA and Burmese regime government, Burmese army instigated attack against KIA by surprise according to KIA frontline report. However KIA was trying to calm down the situation during discussion between them. But KIA troops have no choice must defend against Burmese soldier’s intrusion and have defeated Burmese soldiers successfully the end of the day. The exact casualties from both side still unknown and Burmese army and government has no genuine intention for change and progress for the country. This is the fact of Burmese government and army for the past over 50 year since military rule the country. We Kachin people and KIA/KIO have witness it for the past many decades and Burmese army launched civil war against Kachin people. We KIA/KIO will continue to defend our Kachinland and our people until we have own freedom and right to rule and determination for our future.
