There was firce fighting in Dumbang mountain located near Namsan Yang village on 11 Feb 2012. This was due to Burmese army intrusion into KIA control areas that led to the whole day arm clash between KIA forces and Bumese soldiers. However KIA special force and Kachin civil defence force were defended successfully against Buemese soldiers intrusion into KIA control areas. Although exact numbers of casualties and injured unknown, report cited that Burmese soldiers suffer heavy losses and many soldiers are wounded. Report also confirm that Buemese army intrusion and attack continue recently against KIA and more Buemese soldiers arriving in Kachin state in spite of ongoing peace talk between them. We Kachin people condemn brutal killing and grave human right violation continue by Burmese army against Kachin people in Kachin State Burma.We Kachin people, citizen of Burma have very right to live peacefully and determine our own future without Burmese oppression. But Burmese regime continue to terrorize against Kachin civilian.
