There was another deadly fighting between KIA 16th platoon and offensive Burmese army (tat ma 88) on 07 January 2012 at about 3:30pm Burma time. The deadly fighting took place in between Maru and Hka Ya villages under KIA 3rd Brigade control area. According frontline report 4 Burmese soldiers lost their life for the sake to please the Burmese army order to continue civil war against KIA and Kachin civilian.
